Editorial Guidelines

Editorial Guidelines

Last updated: August 2026

To ensure your press release is accepted and distributed without delay, please follow these editorial guidelines. Releases that violate these standards may be rejected or sent back for revision.

Content Requirements

  • Newsworthiness: Releases should announce something newsworthy — a product launch, funding, partnership, milestone, event or similar development.
  • Third-person voice: Write in the third person. Avoid first-person promotional language.
  • Accuracy: All facts, figures, names and claims must be accurate and verifiable.
  • Length: We recommend 300–800 words for standard distribution. Longer releases are accepted for enterprise plans.
  • No false claims: Do not fabricate quotes, statistics or endorsements.

Prohibited Content

  • Illegal products or services, including unlicensed financial advice and regulated substances.
  • Defamatory, discriminatory or hateful content.
  • Misleading headlines that do not reflect the body of the release.
  • Excessive keyword stuffing intended to manipulate search rankings.
  • Unapproved claims about publicly traded securities (please consult legal counsel).

Formatting

  • Provide a clear, descriptive headline under 100 characters.
  • Include a dateline (city, date) at the start of the first paragraph.
  • Add contact information at the end for media follow-up.
  • Attach supporting images in high resolution when available.

Review Process

Our editorial team reviews every release before distribution. Typical review time is 2–4 business hours during working days. If edits are required, we will notify you through your account.
